Welcome to Italy; welcome to Piedmont !
Well-known throughout the world for its boot shape, Italy is a land of great richness and diversity. The birthplace of Antiquity, the country is brimming with relics of the past. Much to the delight of the country’s travellers, the landscape varies greatly from north to south. Finally, it is impossible to talk about Italy without once mentioning its cuisine: pizza, pasta, antipasti, panna cotta, gelato... so many delicacies to discover !
Head to Piedmont, a region of North-Western Italy on the border with France and Switzerland. Its name literally means ‘at the foot of the mountains’ because it is surrounded by the Alps on three sides. The peaks offer views of the spectacular landscape full of vast plains and vineyard-covered hills. It is here, with this amazing panoramic view, that you’ll find the Betulle campsite.
Le Betulle campsite, open from March to September, is a little paradise set in the heart of the Italian countryside, at the edge of La Mandria Regional Park. Created in 1969 and situated above the plains of Turin, the campsite is built on a ‘human’ scale. Simple, natural and wild, Le Betulle gives you the chance to really get back to your roots, since naturist values are part of the campsite’s very DNA. In fact, Le Betulle was the 1st campsite to be recognised by the Italian Naturist Federation.
