In the heart of Le Verdon Nature Park in Provence, Le Petit Arlane Naturist Site stretches across 70 hectares of untamed countryside. As soon as you get to the campsite you are greeted by a lovely view of the huge fields, either lavender blue or sunflower yellow depending on the year. And one of the many treats our naturist holidaymakers enjoy is to pick a few sprigs of lavender or some sunflowers as a souvenir of their stay.
Le Petit Arlane campsite gets its name from a nearby Gallo-Roman farm, just one of the numerous historic sites to discover in the Le Verdon region (castles, churches, fountains, mills, and more), so if you love history and old stone, prepare yourself for a fascinating trip back into ancient times.
At the Petit Arlane you will find a naturist campsite which is reasonably flat and is set in the midst of a forest of white oak and holm oak trees. The campsite has been intentionally restricted to just a hundred or so pitches, creating a quiet, friendly family atmosphere. Everyone ends up getting to know each other and many friendships are formed despite the various language barriers.
One of the main attractions of Le Petit Arlane naturist campsite is obviously the two nearby lakes, each one measuring 5000 m², which provide a home for a peaceable family of ducks along with a turtle that you can often glimpse in the evening. Fishing enthusiasts should remember to bring their gear – the lake is brimming over with trout and carp.
